With Les Classiques de Charlie Winston, he revisits his own songs, titles he loves and classical works that resonate with his musical imagination, in new arrangements with l’Ensemble 1001 Notes composed for this occasion of strings and winds.
This concert is an opportunity to enter the intimate studio of a singular artist, to rediscover what, in his universe, links chanson, folk, pop, a taste for rhythm and a form of almost classical élan in his writing. His melodies take on other colors, other breaths, other reliefs, between inner energy, discreet lyricism and immediate emotion.
