Charlie Winston

PARIS - Thursday, November 12, 2026 - 8:30 PM

Presentation

Réunir la musique classique avec d'autre musiques telles que le rap, le hiphop, l'électro, le métal ou le rock
Charlie Winston is an artist apart in today’s musical landscape. Singer, songwriter and composer, he has established a singular identity, blending folk, pop and rock energy, with a rare freedom of tone and intensity on stage. Revealed to the general public with the success of Like a Hobo, he has since continued to chart a personal course, between introspection, commitment and sonic research. His music, both accessible and demanding, is distinguished by a keen sense of melody, rhythm and narrative.

For this first Clash of the season, Charlie Winston imagines a concert in his own image: free, elegant, generous and deeply inhabited. With Les Classiques de Charlie Winston, he revisits his own songs, titles he loves and classical works that resonate with his musical imagination, in new arrangements with l’ Ensemble 1001 Notes composed for this occasion of strings and winds.

This concert is an opportunity to enter the intimate studio of a singular artist, to rediscover what, in his universe, links chanson, folk, pop, a taste for rhythm and a form of almost classical élan in his writing. His melodies take on other colors, other breaths, other reliefs, between inner energy, discreet lyricism and immediate emotion.
